Sometimes people surprise me. Give me, give me, give me. How can I get away in this life with doing the least amount possible and get the most I can? Why does it amaze me?
I have recently come across someone who embodies a pretty selfish nature and it's so in your face that it can't be missed. That's why I always think, in order to really GET life, you have to have actually endured a tragedy. A tragedy in some shape or form; truly lost something that mattered to you. If you haven't gone through that, then in my opinion, you don't get it yet.
I'll stop, I'll get down off my soap box before I say something I will regret.

You cook, you clean, you go to work, you nourish, you love, you scold, you are professional and yet you hang your hat on every dust particle in your home. You are a woman. Some women are Moms and some are not. You are still a woman. We are all made similarly. We are strong.

I get what you're saying I do think until you have experienced some sort of life altering deep cutting tradegy you dont get it. While I think all that he's watching his daughter go thru he might get it but not dealing with as he should. But most people dont get it.
I do think some people I know have never had tradgeies yet get it in some very speical way.
You have volumes you could say about this, but sadly you would be preaching to the choir.
