Should I let my little one month old cry it out a little? Is that too young? I'm so torn about this. Will it help him to know it's alright? I feel I should cuddle him till I can't cuddle him anymore. He's just so little.
Maybe I'll start little. Let him cry no more than 3 minutes. Go get him, soothe him. Then move to 5 minutes.... I don't know. I want him to know we are here.
What to do....
The books say it's ok. My husband says it's ok. My heart says it's not. What do you say?
The nights are getting LONGER.
Oy.
..............what to do...

I think 1 month old is too young to cry it out. Isnt he crying for something, comfort, food, not just to be crying they are too little for that. But thats just me.
No crying it out here ever. But we all gotta do what is best for us.
I say that a one month old is too young to cry it out. I have been told and have read that you should not let them cry it out until after 3 months. Before then, they still need to learn to trust and attach to you. Then need to feel safe before you can teach them a little independance. Just my opinion thouhgh... You have to do what you feel is best
My first son I waited too long to cry it out and my 2nd son i waited until he was 4 months and it worked great
My Stepdaughter's mom started right from the beginning and my stepdaughter has weird attachemnt issues. I am not saying its b/c she was made to cry it out so early but I think it didn't help any either.
